SBMS works closely with Hotel Grand Central Limited (www.ghihotels.com) as one of their hospitality industry partner. HGC Limited owns & operates hotels & properties throughout South East Asia, Australia & New Zealand. It’s incorporated on 
13 June 1968 and was listed on the Singapore Stock Exchange in 1978.

The Group has a vested interest in maintaining a long-term investment strategy in Australia & New Zealand, and to further develop its expertise in the hospitality industry. To-date, Hotel Grand Central Limited, through its management subsidiaries & affiliated hotels, owns, operates, represents, or has equity interests in about 28 hotels, which amount to almost 5000 hotel rooms

As one of the Industrial Attachment partner of SBMS, Hotel Grand Central (‘HGC’) will accept students from SBMS who have completed either their 1-year Diploma / Advanced Diploma in Reception Operations & Services (City & Guilds – UK) or Diploma in Hospitality Management (SBMS) for the 6 months Industrial Attachment. Students undergoing the Industry Attachment could utilize the hotel facilities for the Hospitality Program practical training. This is strictly subject to approval from the Ministry of Manpower (MOM) and the students holding a valid 6 months Training Work Permit issued by the MOM.
